Our story begins in fifth-grade, where fate first brought us together as classmates. Little did we know that sharing a classroom would be the start of something much bigger. As the years passed, we rode the same school bus through middle school, and our friendship continued to grow when we both became athletic trainers during our sophomore year of high school.

The summer before senior year, we went on our first official date to Cold Stone, enjoying some sweet treats and even sweeter conversation. On our second date, we spent hours driving around in Matt’s 1997 Bronco, looking at houses under construction and dreaming about the future. When senior year rolled around, Matt finally asked Courtney to homecoming, and on October 23, 2015, he made the relationship official.

From there, we quickly fell in love, went to prom together, and shared countless memories. Both of us went on to attend Stephen F. Austin State University, but life took us in separate directions during our sophomore year. Though we lost touch, deep down, we both always knew we were meant to be.

Fast forward to the spring of 2022, when fate brought us back together at the local gym. After a few casual run-ins and conversations, Matt finally asked Courtney out to lunch August 20, 2022. What started as a simple catch-up turned into a four-hour conversation full of laughter and memories, and from that day on, we were inseparable once again.

Now, as we prepare to embark on the next chapter of our journey, we couldn’t be more excited to share our love story with you all and celebrate the beginning of our forever.
